Better Together Spring & Summer

Spyglass Ridge Community had a friendly get-together with our first Friday Afternoon Club. We planned a simple, casual event, and it turned out to be a nice couple of hours despite the chilly wind. It was beautifully sunny, and we had our usual fantastic ocean views from the common area grass near the south gate. 

Several neighbors brought snacks to share, and everyone brought their own beverages and chairs. As we sat around (some neighbors played Cornhole), we chatted, laughed, and caught up with each other's lives. Learning more about our neighbors and sharing stories and experiences with them was enjoyable. There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The sense of belonging in our community that is building is heartening. 

Several people said they were happy that they had this opportunity to meet each other. They feel lucky to have such friendly neighbors and to be part of this lovely ocean-view community. They are looking forward to our next get-together. 

Overall, it was a relaxing way to wind down the week and start the weekend on a positive note . . . together!
