Friday Afternoon Clubs Are Good For Us!
Our Friday Afternoon Club is a casual community gathering that takes place once a month in the spring and fall. It’s a relaxing way to wind down the week and kick off the weekend on a positive note while enjoying our fantastic ocean views from the common-area grass near the south gate.
Frank and I handle the setup and provide popcorn, while others contribute cookies, candy, flowers, or brownies as they wish. There’s no need to bring anything except a chair, a drink, and a smile. On the last Friday of each month, neighbors make time to listen to music, enjoy beverages, munch on snacks, and catch up with one another.
Some people have expressed how glad they are to have met their neighbors. We are fortunate to have such friendly people in our lovely ocean-view community.
This was the final Friday Afternoon Club of the year, but we will soon announce details for our annual Holiday Tree Lighting Gathering.
