BETTER TOGETHER
OUR FOURTH ANNUAL
HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING EVENT
This year, we’re adding something new and festive—John McAndrews will be singing Christmas carols while playing his guitar! We’ll have our usual popcorn and cookies, and if you’d like to bring a small treat to share, wonderful—but absolutely not required.
Bundle up in a cozy jacket, grab your chair, favorite beverage, and, of course, your smile!
We’ll gather in the south gate street in front of the lawn area. The street will be temporarily blocked off so we can relax safely without navigating the grass after dark.
And because joy grows when shared, we’ve invited our neighboring HOA to join us—just for the fun of it.

THE STORY OF OUR
SPYGLASS RIDGE COMMUNITY
TREE LIGHTING EVENT
We lit the tree for the first time in 2021, with just a few neighbors looking on. It was simple, sweet, and slightly improvised—but something told us we had stumbled into a tradition worth keeping.
In 2022, we got our act together and turned it into a community-wide invitation. More neighbors bundled up, brought chairs, cookies, cocoa, and cameras—and suddenly the tree lighting felt like the unofficial start of the holidays at Spyglass Ridge.
Each year, we stick around a bit longer and swap a few more stories.
From a handful of onlookers to a fun seasonal meetup, it has grown at the perfect, neighborly pace.
Because, of course, we’re better together!
